Four red-blooded American penguins at the Central Park Zoo (despite two of them are British) are also a team of undercover self-taught commandos and secret agents. One day, the penguins find out from neighboring lemurs Maurice and Mort that their ruler, the goofy party-animal King Julian, has been kidnapped overnight, and the last place he was seen at was by the pool of their encloser to throw a pool party. Skipper, the leader of the team, suspects that their old enemy, Doctor Blowhole, is to blame, and they soon find out that he has planted bombs all across key underwater locations around New York in an attempt to flood the city. With this in mind, a race like no other is on!
