  • nitrogencake 1. Oswald retains the Cobblepot surname, same goes for Esther (Francis), who also keeps the same first name as in the comics.

    • nitrogencake   2. Victor Aguilar and Eve Karlo are now both adaptations of characters from the comics. They're literally the exact same as in the show, just now with different names, even if they're loose adaptations of their comic counterparts. This is because I dislike the Canon Foreigner trope.

    • nitrogencake   3. Carmine Falcone gets a younger actor for flashbacks. This is so the recast isn't a recast-recast, just a younger version of the character.

    • nitrogencake   4. Oswald killing his brothers is replaced by Oswald killing his father. (Not putting an actor for him here, because I feel like he should be played by an unknown, I'm not lazy.) I think Oswald also had siblings in the comics, so them too maybe.
