A teenage latina girl with a difficult personality (due to loss of her parents in young age). One day she accidentally ends up in the Boiling Isles and decides to stay there because "there is no place for her in the human realm". Luz can be brave, but also stubborn and overconfident, which is evident many times in the series. Luz use to swearing a lot.
