Synopsis

After enlisting the help of his nephew Virgil, Jefferson Pierce teams up with other allies to deal with a crime lord bent on making noise to dominate the streets of Chicago. Based on the team of the same name, 'The Outsiders' serves as a sequel to the events of 'Suicide Squad 2: Assault on Arkham' and 'Static Shock' respectively.

Description of Black Lightning (Jefferson Pierce):

Virgil's surprise to discover that his uncle was a superhero could only be matched by his surprise that he also had electrical powers. Acting as a local school teacher, Pierce was also affected by violence in the streets, when he lost his father, accidentally shot during an attack. That, and his desire to always ensure peace for his city and his family, made him the hero known as Black Lightning.
