Instead of dying, Robert undergoes a horrifying transformation. His body mutates into a towering gray-skinned creature driven by instinct, rage, and survival. As Robert struggles to control the monster within, he becomes the target of military forces led by General Terrence "Thunderclap" Ross, who views the Hulk as a dangerous biological weapon. Unknown to everyone, the disaster was orchestrated by fellow scientist Dr. Ursula Kaine, whose obsession with perfecting human evolution drives her to manipulate gamma mutations for her own ambitions. When the savage Wendigo emerges from the wilderness, Robert must decide whether the monster inside him can become humanity's greatest protector or its greatest nightmare.
