After a 6 month suspension, a caregiver named Kit, is assigned to an ailing woman who was accused of murdering her entire family 50 years earlier in a Lizzie Borden-like massacre. Lenora Hope was never convicted but now paralyzed by a stroke that paralyzed all but her left arm she decides to share her story with Kit communicating only through a typewriter.
