Synopsis

Here it is, the long-awaited Phase 2 of the new and improved UNIVERSAL MONSTERVERSE! This time, we're kickstarting this phase with a brand-new original film, The Mummy. This film, an indirect sequel to Dracula (it only carries over a few of the same characters), shows Mina and Quincey Harker going on an archeological dig in Egypt, where they excavate the tomb of Queen Tera with Mina's friends Malcolm Ross and Margaret Trelawney. But, trouble arises when they retrieve the long-sought-after Jewel of Seven Stars from the tomb, a blasphemy which awakens Tera's mummy

Description of Tera:

Queen Tera I of Egypt, daughter of Tutankhamun, was unusual for a variety of reasons. One, she was born with seven fingers on her dominant left hand instead of five. Two, she was the sole ruler of Egypt in her time. Though she had a son named Kho-Ru, she wasn't married. Now, when the prized Jewel of Seven Stars is taken from her tomb by Mina, she has reawakened and wreaks havoc in the excavation site. Ultimately, however, Quincey defeats her by setting off a bag of dynamite and fireworks in the tomb, crushing Tera to death
