Synopsis

The original series based on the novel series; it will be a reboot for the entire series of the franchise to expand the world of Shadowhunters with an new cast as fan-favorite characters, and to adapt the books for future seasons.

Description of Simon Lewis:

Simon Lewis is a teenage boy who described himself as being a "hipster," but his best friend, Clary, called him a "geek". Simon began life as an ordinary human (called a mundane), but in City of Ashes was transformed into a vampire. After becoming a vampire, he didn't age and physically remained 16 years old. Simon made a deal with a demon to take his immortality and memory so he and his friends could get out of Edom. He became human again and did not remember the Shadow World until he started training to become a Shadowhunter.
