Synopsis

The original series based on the novel series; it will be a reboot for the entire series of the franchise to expand the world of Shadowhunters with an new cast as fan-favorite characters, and to adapt the books for future seasons.

Description of Clary Fray:

Clarissa "Clary" Adele Fray/Fairchild is the sister of Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern, and the daughter of Valentine Morgenstern and Jocelyn Fairchild. As a teenager, Clary discovered that she is a Shadowhunter, or Nephilim: a human with angelic qualities. It was believed that she was a mundane (human) because her mother kept it a secret to protect Clary; after discovering that Clary's father administered angel blood to her while Clary was in the womb. This gives Clary the ability to create runes. Clary is an artist, and is described as being stubborn and impulsive. Her best friend is Simon Lewis. She is romantically involved with Jace.
