Synopsis

After the Shredder's supposed death, Leatherhead rounds up a ragtag gang of fellow mutants that were bred and tortured in TCRI, aided by Agent Bishop. The mutated team soon finds themselves in the middle of a new deadly mission when TCRI soon finds itself under new management alongside Baxter Stockman.

A tragic explosion during the climax of the final battle sees Donatello half-dead. He is only saved by having his brain and internal organs stored inside his "Metal Head" robot suit while his body is on the mend.
