Charlie Conway , now a major businessman, decides to move his family back to his hometown in Minnesota in a way to reconnect with his withdrawn kids. While visiting his old local ice rink, in hopes of signing up his son for youth hockey , he suddenly finds himself getting volunteered to be the new coach of the rinks new rag tag peewee hockey team after running into some familiar hockey faces with kids of their own.
