Fan Casting ''Edison's Successor'' in The Maze Runner: The Kill Order

In the Post-Credits Scene for the film, two years after the flat trans is destroyed, we see a group of authorities from the government, now known as WICKED, arrive to a woman's home. They are here for her son Stephen, who is immune to The Flare. The woman, although reluctant, agrees for her son to be taken. On the way out of the apartment building, one of the authorities looks at a dimly lit lightbulb and says, ''You know the guy that invented these things? We should name this subject... Thomas.'' ending the film.
