Stanley Ipkiss, a socially awkward bank teller, finds a mysterious green mask floating in the water. After he takes it home and tries it on he transforms into a highly manic living cartoon. He goes around messing with other people until he awakes in bed the next day, slowly realizing he’s done something horrible.
