A nazi scientist who negotiated his way into the U.S. space program after the war. His innovations in rocket science paved the way towards the Baxter launch of ‘61 which resulted in the infamous metamorphosis of four intrepid explorers. Werner das Verhängnis once envisioned himself the future head of state to the small and since defunct nation of Latveria, where his family originated from. After the war, the country was left in total ruin. Werner now seeks to rebuild it in his own image, secretly laying the ground work in the jungles of South America.
