Gina Rodriguez as Emilia O'Connor: Mason's wife, Amara's mother, and a scientist who is transported with her husband to the future, but is separated from him by the transportation's gravity pull and taken to a different location. When she is taken to the Resistance base and meets her daughter as an adult, she is given the rank of captain at the behest of Amara and Mason.
