Dennis Edwards was another Alabama man who was part of the contours and later join the temptations as Ruffin's replacement. He made many hits like Cloud Nine which they won a grammy on. He was also on the song Papa was a Rolling Stone which they won there 2nd Grammy but also didn't like the song because of long intro. He was in out of the group until 1989. He also did some solo acts. He later died a couple years back on February 1st of 2018.
