A bigoted French entrepreneur gets kidnapped by an Arab revolutionary who is being searched by the secret police of his oppressive country. To get away from the Arab police and also the French police who thinks the businessman is responsible for a multiple murderer, the duo takes the identity of a New York Orthodox rabbi and his secretary who just arrived in France. Hilarity ensues.
