Fan Casting Barnaby Bob Thompson in The Lower Floor

Barnaby is incredibly polite and motivated by comfort. If a war is breaking out, he’s more concerned that someone’s posture looks uncomfortable. He speaks in a soft, airy baritone that sounds like a hug. Barnaby often misses the point of the conflict entirely. If Artie says, "They’re attacking our department!" Barnaby might respond by trying to protect the department's communal toaster by sitting on it for three days. Because of his sheer size, he is the "Heavy" of the Loser Floor, but only by accident. He doesn't throw punches; he just stands in doorways and forgets to move, acting as an impenetrable, soft wall.
