Synopsis

Jeanne de Clisson's life story of love, life, and revenge. Born to nobility in 1300, married at 12, Jeanne-Louise de Belleville a French/Breton noblewoman who became a privateer to avenge her 3rd husband after he was wrongfully executed for treason by the French King.Trying to free him, to no avail. So outraged was she by the beheading and public display of her husband’s head, she sold his property and belongings, and formed an army to take vengeance. For 13 years her ships and army pillaged and plundered the French forces by land and sea, leaving few survivors to tell the tale of her attacks in the quest to inflict revenge on Philip VI and her fellow nobles lies that lead to his demise.
