  • nathanbates Trivia: Dalton frequently clashed with Lynch on-set, finding his directing style obtuse and later admitted that he only agreed to appear in the movie in order help finance the Fireman franchise he co-created with Cliff Booth. Rumors persist that Dalton has served as inspiration for characters in Lynch’s later work, namely the role Agent Cooper takes in the finale of Twin Peaks: The Return, where he is unable to go back in time and save a doomed girl. Lynch refuses to answer questions on the matter.
