The movie is about a race of colorful and magical monsters known as the Mixels that can be combined from one Mixel to another Mixel with the magic power of the Cubit and are led by their benevolent king of the planet Mixel flain for thousands of years the Mixels had used the magic power of the Cubit in order to protect their home planet from their evil counterparts known as the Nixels who are a race of black and white monsters that loves to ruin fun and creativity for the Mixels and were led by the king of the Nixels until his death a long time ago but a new villain who is the new king of the Nixels wants to steal the Cubit be believed that he can corrupt its magic power so he can rule the multiverse with a iron fist by creating a weapon known as the Chaos Cubit which is a evil device that can it’s user the magic power to recreate the multiverse by turning it into a army black and white monsters the new king use the magic power of the Chaos Cubit to turn all of the regular Nixels into the neo Nixels who are bigger badder and stronger versions of their selves and sent his now super powerful Nixels to capture every Mixels throughout planet Mixel so he can run experiments on them luckily some of the Mixels that included Flain Vulk Zorch Krader Seismo Shuff Teslo Zaptor and Volectro managed to get out the new king Nixel’s castle through the escape door and crashed landed to the nearest planet known as the systar system which is the home to Emmet Brickowski and his friends
