In a distant future where the greatest heroes of the galaxy are celebrated as legends, a group of ordinary teenagers dreams of joining the Legion of Super Heroes. When the Legion dismisses them as too weak and inexperienced, they decide to form their own team, the Legion of Substitute Heroes. Armed with unusual powers, determination and plenty of mistakes, they set out to prove that being a hero is not about being the strongest. But when a cosmic threat emerges that even the Legion cannot contain, the substitutes may be the galaxy’s last hope.
