Two years have passed since the defeat of Ganondorf at the hands of the hero of Hyrule, Link. The land has prospered under princess Zelda's rule but it was not meant to last, when Hyrule and it's heroes least expected it an army of shadow beasts led by the vengeful Zant invade spreading twilight everywhere they go.
