According to the website, legendofgenji.com, regarding this amazing fanmade story by MackyDraws: “The Legend of Genji is a volunteer-based, multimedia fan project to create a new, web-based Avatar series. This is an unofficial project and is not affiliated with the original creators. Through our own story, we aim to bring the original series to a new generation of viewers and create new, exciting content for longtime fans of the original series. Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are two shows that revolutionized the way many Americans view cartoons. Borrowing themes and animation styles from Asia, creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino pushed the limits of mainstream television to create a children’s show that challenged young viewers to consider complex themes and ideas like egalitarianism, theocracy, terrorism, and globalization. The franchise emphasized equality, diversity, and athleticism, and it has attracted millions of fans of all ages for its sincerity and depth. Description of Luan:

Born in the southern city of Gaoling, Luan was named Korra’s successor as the new Avatar by the White Lotus and the Dai Li at a young age. His family moved to the upper ring of Ba Sing Se, and Luan received an elite education along with world-class earthbending training. A personal favorite of the President-General Bao Jun and the darling of the Earth Federation, Luan has developed the charisma, intelligence, and physical prowess necessary to become a great Avatar. Despite mastering earthbending and metalbending, Luan has not yet successfully firebent. As he gets older, he begins to question his skills and whether or not he’s truly prepared to take on the role as Avatar.
