The son of Count Etem and Countess Kathilnah, and twin brother to Lady Ethilne. Like his twin sister, Kennler is also a gentle person. Despite seeming like a weak excuse for a count, Kennler isn’t won over by political liars. When his sister danced with their ward, Heras Barirn, during her engagement ceremony, he immediately knew that his sister had a genuine relationship with Heras, unlike her dwindling relationship with Rodas. After his sister left her wedding with Rodas, with the latter being upset with his bride running away, Kennler was quick to point out that with Rodas’ behavior towards their ward, Ethilne never really loved Rodas.
