Originally known as Donotyr Lawsma, Heras was smuggled into the palace of House Dooku by Terrcon Nelvor. Despite his upbringing as a farmer and a soldier, Heras adjusts to the royal court and receives Jedi training from the count. He befriends Lady Ethilne Dooku, the daughter of the Count. Heras' presence angers Rodas Borgin, who accuses him of stealing her. However, his relationship with Ethilne improves, and he learns about his true identity as the long-lost Jedi Knight Wintrev Legabeck.
