In 1959, Jack "Johnny" Valentine, a charismatic but volatile young drifter, arrives in Los Angeles, looking to carve his name into history. As the power struggle intensifies, Jack is forced to escape to Mexico, where he crosses paths with Sgt. Cole Buchanan , a disillusioned WWII vet who now runs a gang of outlaw revolutionaries fighting the encroaching reach of the American government. The two form an uneasy bond as they navigate a world that no longer has a place for men like them. But Jack can't escape his past. As Krieg’s forces descend upon him, Jack must decide: live as a legend or die as a forgotten man?
