In the kingdom of Dream Land, on Planet Popstar, Kirby, a little, pink outcast with some unusual lungs, longs to become a mighty Star Warrior, but an attempt at heroism results in him accidentally whisking Mizuki, a young human girl, into his world. While trying to find a way to get Mizuki home, Kirby discovers that King Dedede, the snobby ruler of Dream Land, is secretly working for Nightmare, an evil wizard with dark plans for Dream Land. Now, Kirby must harness the power of Copy Abilities as he and a few other ragtag misfits set out on a dangerous mission to save his world.
