Synopsis

Invitations for the fighting tournament “King of Fighters” are delivered to fighters throughout the world. The young Kyo Kusanagi from Japan joins with his friends Benimaru Nikaido and Goro Daimon to compete in the tournament. Who is its mysterious sponsor “R”? What are 3-on-3 team battles?
