Synopsis

When a robot falls from outer space in 1957 Rockwell Maine, nine year old Hogarth Hughes befriends the fifty foot robot with an appetite for metal. But Government agent, Kent Mansley is on his trail in hopes of destroying this invader.

General Shannon Rogard never tolerates Kent Mansley's paranoia/stupidity, initially disbelieving the Agent's claim of a "giant metal monster" in Rockwell, Maine, and even accuses him of blowing millions of Uncle Sam's Dollars Out Of [His Butt] The Angry General said this because of Kent Mansley wasting both his time and the Government/Military’s money for a worthless trip to the town.
