Brilliant but tormented scientist Bruce Banner is exposed to a gamma radiation experiment meant to recreate a lost Super-Soldier formula. He transforms into a raging green monster when his heart rate spikes. On the run from the military (led by a hard-nosed General Ross), Banner seeks a cure while trying to protect the people he loves, especially Betty Ross. The story is more grounded and tragic than pure spectacle: Banner’s internal conflict, the military’s desire to weaponize the Hulk, and a climactic confrontation in a city that forces Banner to choose between control and destruction. Ends with Banner still on the run, but with a quiet S.H.I.E.L.D. contact offering help… for a price. Post-credits: a brief glimpse of a mysterious blue cube in a secure facility (early Tesseract tease).
