Fan Casting Norman Greene in The House Next Door

The third owner of The House. A terse, unfriendly former military man. Norman dominates his household, to the point of cruelty. He is cold to the neighborhood. He resents his stepdaughter, as she reminds him that his wife has been with other men before. Norman is often brutal to his wife, who he thinks is immoral for having had a child out of wedlock previously by another man. We get the sense he may have been a better man at one point, but the things he has seen in war have changed him for the worse. He may have struggled with mental health prior to his military service, as well. He ends up under The House’s spell and commits a murder-suicide on his family; aged 50-60
