His aunt Linda Downey, an enchanter and Then, the story turns towards troublemaker Joseph Macaulay, who is sent to a school in Maine, where he learns he is a wizard, and meets fellow teenager Jason Haley, who helps him escape. The four collide in the Dragon Heir, as the battle begins.
