A Potential Idea for Season 3 of the Haunting Anthology
When Edward Johnson gets a letter from Roderick, an old childhood friend, he travels to his remote family mansion. There, he meets Roderick's sister Madeline, who is struggling with a mysterious illness. Roderick, now suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder, informs Edward that he's called him here so they can stay with Madeline her last days, and possibly rekindle their friendship. Edward and Roderick begin to spark a romance, when Madeline suddenly dies. Her death drives a wedge between the two men, and as time passes, secrets from the Usher family's history are unearthed, and as ghosts both literal and figurative begin to appear, Edward will need to reevaluate what he knows about his friend and his family. Based on the short story The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe.
