The Guardians of the Galaxy are back on a new mission. An artifact called the Eternity Forge has the power to resurrect the dead. Star-Lord, Drax, & Rocket are almost tempted to use it to resurrect Quill's mother Meredith, Drax's wife Hovat, his daughter Kamaria, & Rocket's lover Lylla. New Kree Accuser Hala wants to use it to bring her deceased son, Bal-Dinn, back to life. The Guardians must unite friends & foes to prevent Hala from using the Forge, while also trying to pay their fine to the Nova Corps and deciding to use the Forge or destroy it.
