Based on a true story and documentary
Werner Herzog has a history of making films or films being made from true stories he popularizes through documentaries. There was the one about the plane crash the woman survived in the South American jungle. There was Dieter Dengler the Vietnam War POW. I think Timothy Treadwells story deserves a similar treatment as it's a tragic tale and a cautionary one.
