(Also Known As The American Akibaranger Adaptation)
Taking place in the real world, three individuals (a Power Rangers mega-fan, a cosplayer, and a closet weeb) are chosen by a beautiful scientist to become the first "unofficial" team of Power Rangers and "protect Akihabara" from powerful otaku villains that only exist in their delusions. However, the otaku fight eventually gets literally real when their "otaku enemies" begin to materialize in the real world. The (technically seventh, but not really) movie in my vision of a Power Rangers Cinematic Universe.
