Age: 15 As an infant, Charles Morton was abducted from his home and disappeared, only to reappear 13 years later at the height of a solar eclipse, uniquely changed. He now has snow white hair, chronic insomnia, the ability to perceive the spirit world, and a few latent psychic talents that crop up now and then. “Mad” Morton has spent his time at the military academy studying everything he can about magical charms and wards, terrified that whatever he escaped from will come back to reclaim him someday.
