Based on the video game
When one of their fleets of space cruisers suddenly disappears only to have their charred remains discovered, an agency called the United Galaxy Space Force (UGSF) finds out that they are being targeted by aliens piloting ships shaped like bugs. A veteran pilot with a haunting past, a rookie who idolises the UGSF, and a friendly butterfly alien from the enemy fleet must save the universe from total domination.
