Five years have passed since the tragic death of Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, has moved on while continuing to protect New York City. However, a new threat emerges when an upgraded and more formidable Doctor Octopus, powered by AIM's technology, begins terrorizing the city. As Peter faces this enhanced menace, he is unexpectedly reunited with his former lover, Felicia Hardy, also known as the Black Cat. Together, they must confront their past, navigate their complicated relationship, and stop Doctor Octopus before he can get his revenge on Spider-Man.
