Barry Allen now faces the Thinker, a scientist who had his intelligence and brain activity increased by his thinking cap created by DeVoe and another scientist, Dr. Michael Holt of Star Labs. Meanwhile, Barry's girlfriend Wally's brother is struck by lightning under the same circumstances as Barry.
