Julia was an all-around girl-next door beauty, now relegated to a wheelchair due to her massive body trauma from her slasher/final girl experience. She was ripped off financially and emotionally by her husband/physiotherapist during her recovery, but went on to earn multiple academic degrees. She is brilliant, if a little intellectually condescending. One thing Julia is not is your stereotypical typical badass, which is important to remember. She is empowered, and grows stronger, but these are all complex characters.
