Just a quick pitch, nothing too big. It would honestly be fun to focus on organized crime in Gotham, especially with characters we don't often see. The Falcone Crime Family would be very fun and gripping I think. It could be good as a three to five-season crime epic culminating with the complete dissolution of their empire.read more

nathanbates Lol, Jerry as Gotham’s police commissioner. I love this idea as well, especially towards the end when these old school overrun by the “freaks” taking over the underworld. Told from their point of view, you’d even get some pretty unique pathos out of the fact that one of those “freaks” turns out to be one of their own and even deals a fatal blow to all their organizations (re. The Long Halloween.)

nathanbates @nathanbates Roth’s a great suggestion for Carmine btw. He can play it with poise and dignity and he has this smooth menace to him but also play a man on the edge like no other. Very astute.

Yeah I was thinking Long Halloween could be adapted as the final season (likely changed quite a bit to focus more on the Falcones and other crime families), and seeing everything Carmine dedicated his life to practically die with him and fall completely would be interesting to see from his perspective. And I'd love to see the dynamics these characters would have!
