Age: Unknown. All that is known about Hecate is that he was named for the goddess in ancient Greek mythology and religion who was known for her powerful feats of magic and sorcery. Having studied the dark arts and black magic from far away lands, he soon led a misguided uprising against the kings of Germany with the help of his raising an army of the undead. After a series of fierce battles with significant losses to both sides, the tyrant Hecate was at last slain by King Louis II "the German" and peace returned to the lands. Hecate, however, had one last rotten trick up his sleeves - he managed to cast his spirit away into a mirror harnessing the powers of sunlight and moonlight.
