A darkly comic coming-of-age thriller following James, a troubled seventeen-year-old convinced he's a psychopath, and Alyssa, a rebellious girl desperate to escape her suffocating suburban existence. When they meet, James believes he's finally found his perfect victim—until Alyssa's chaotic energy and genuine connection disrupt his carefully constructed worldview. Together, they embark on a reckless road trip across England, blurring the lines between danger and romance. As their bond deepens, James questions everything he believes about himself, while Alyssa discovers that running away doesn't solve anything. Pursued by concerned adults and haunted by their pasts, the pair must confront whether they're truly monsters or simply misunderstood teenagers searching for belonging. A raw, irreverent exploration of identity, connection, and the messy reality of growing up.
