A Kettral leach (a person with rare and powerful telekinetic ability) on Valyn’s wing. As a leach, Talal has had to hide his powers from the rest of the world most of his life for fear of retribution. He also discovers that his leach abilities are far weaker than other Kettral and he must get creative with his powers if he is to keep up. His confidence in himself grows as Valyn begins to trust him.
