This film is based on a jevenille novel written by Jiro Akagawa, and a Japanese musical played by "Shiki" , the theater company.
Pico is an 11 years old girl, who admires the spritual world and desires to meet real ghosts. One night, she recieves a letter from a mysterious man who calls himself as "Dream Deliverer". The letter invites her to the ruined haunted house in a theme park near her house. When Pico goes there jumping at shadows, she meets a ghost girl names Mako, about Pico's age.
