Synopsis

After the events of The Man with the Golden Dream, Sammy's comeback skyrocketed even further, leading him to a filming of a revival of his Scooby-Doo show (which he got offered a lot of money for). However, after the murder of one of the series leads, Sammy, along with a young rising actress who he takes under his wing, must find out the culprit (while also dealing with a crisis of AI, and a couple of egotistical actors and executives, in typical Sammy Lucas fashion.)

Description of The Murderer:

Carl Franklin's attempt to make it to the mainstream was so desperate, that Carl concocted a plan to possibly kill Xander as a way to replace him as the lead, but his attempt went horribly. So instead, he kills Kevin Bacon (to possibly try to replace him and voice Scooby) and attempts to pin the blame on Xander to try to put his credibility to an end after a comment from Xander calling him an "old dude".
