The film reboots the Defenders series, telling the origin stories of Matt Murdock, Carl Lucas and Danny Rand, from their journey to become Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist to their fight to stop Kingpin, Bullseye, Cottonmouth and Diamondbust from plunging New York City into chaos.
