MCU Phase 3 Rewrite
Season 2 of the American Superhero miniseries the Defenders that shows the group reunite to fight the mind controller Kilgrave. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and acknowledges the continuity of the franchise's films. The miniseries is a crossover event and the culmination for four previously released interconnected series from Marvel and Netflix. It was produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, Nine and a Half Fingers, Inc., and Goddard Textiles, with Ramirez serving as showrunner. The series stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Elodie Yung, Taylor Johnson, Oscar Isaac, Jon Bernthal, Eka Darville, Elden Henson, Jessica Henwick, Simone Missick, Ramón Rodríguez, Rachael Taylor, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn, May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Khalid Abdalla, Gaspard Ulliel, Antonia Salib, Fernanda Andrade, Rey Lucas, Sofia Danu, Saba Mubarak, Ethan Hawke and David Tennant. Season 2 premiered it's full 15 episodes on Netflix on September 27th 2017 and received Positive reviews for it's new characters, The introduction of Moon Knight, The performances, Kilgrave, Score and it was considered an improvement of season 1.
